I bent my mech hanger after a crash and whilst im replacing that i may as well swap out my xt chain and cassette. Can anyone recommend a decent and slightly more reasonably priced combo? I've had Sram chains before which was good, but never used one of their cassettes. Ta.

I replaced my worn out cassette and chain with SLX from Merlin. Seems pretty light and less scarily priced than the XT stuff. £48 for the pair.
