White frame with black styling, bit of the black has chipped off revealing white. On top tube so noticeable and annoying. Tried a sharpie which looked okay but didn't dry properly and wiped off. Some sort of enamel model paint?
Nail varnish
I just used some dark battleship grey humbrol model paint on mine - seemed to work OK and didn't dissolve the carbon. 2 years later, it was so scratched I'd long since stopped bothering trying to touch them all up.
On a trek few years back the black had rub of in places used gloss black worked a treat.
A car paint touch up pen should do it.
+1 nail varnish
As in coloured nail varnish I assume? As he wants to cover the white chip up?
Asking as I have a carbon frame on the way!
Clear nail varnish for carbon.
But given that the area to be repaired is white then we aren't down to carbon yet.
So i'd go with car touch up pen with satin finish clearcoat.
