I mean what's actually in it? Need some and have a whole armory of specialist industrial/maintenance chemicals, sure one of them must be what carbon paste is...

It's just some sort of grease with little carbon balls in.

According to Pace:

I heard that most grease could bugger up carbon/epoxy and shouldn't be applied to carbon bike bits - is that a lie ?

It's like toothpaste but it's for polishing carbon frames instead of teeth.
