What does everyone use for their inner tube patches. I use park, but before I get some more, is there a better patch?

Is there a bulk buy option anywhere?

Cheers

Halfords used to do a sheet you could cut up. I use rema. I didn't know park did owt bar their self-adhesive ones.

Not a fan of patches (or tubes infact), but have used Leaches from Halfords and seem to be ok. They are self stick so much quicker than the old glue ones.

-1 for park. Great if you need them on the trail, but crap if you store a previously inflated innertube. They wrinkle up and stop sealing.

pre glued patches, IME, are all crap.

nothing comes close to a tube of rubber cement and some proper rubber patches.
no slower either i dont think, easy to keep a small tube, and some pre cut squares in a camel back (i keep mine in an old park patch box actually, with the square of sandpaper)

Rema Tip-Top are good for on the fly punctures - the plastic backing splits down the middle making it easy to apply them.

I found with the Park self adhesive ones that when the glue gets warm the patch leaks ie you leave your bike in the car on a warm day.

Weldtite Patch Strip 155mm x 95mm, chop it to size, buy a tube of their glue at the smae time. They works ace and you have a supply lasting months/years for a couple of quid.
