I have a Nukeproof headset fitted to a 2011 5 Spot with a tapered steerer fork.
The bearings are knackered & I can't find spares - upper cup is internal, lower external.
I'm looking for a Hope quality & price (or less) headset but I don't think the Hope pick & mix do a lower external cup.
Can some one recommend me a suitable headset?

Hope do one with their pick and mix headsets. What you will need is a (2)Top and a (H) Bottom

I have a cane creek 40 series. They have a checker thingy n their site.

Thanks Rusty mac - just what I wanted - I've been looking at the diagrams which don't show the H cup.

there is a document on the hopetech website that gives details of all the cups they do. I know these ones as it is what i use on my bike.
