Couple of guys have impressed the hell out of me this year, both were double amputees.

One was at the marmotte and beat a hell of a lot of people.

The other was at both the Puffer and Relentless - always had a smile on his face.

Kind of sums up biking for me this year - its not about winning, but doing the best you can on the day.

What has impressed you this year?

My lass buying a bike and doing the red at GT on first ride out and actually enjoying it despite three crashes. If she gets fit this could be a good year coming up.

As well as Iona's cooking, the last days riding was also awesome.

I was also very impressed by my Fox Talas forks. And Sharki's ability to ride up anything on a singlespeed. Its not what you ride, etc.

Cadel winning the worlds.

Isn't it a bit early for the 'this year' stuff though?

Chrissie Wellington. Incredible achievement - and she broke the other competitors on the cycle.

For me, Chrissie should get Sports Personality of the year this year. When she started on the Pro circuit 2 years ago, she wasn't taken seriously! "Look at me now..." 8)
