[Closed] What Hardtail Frame for 160mm Fork?

I thought the Ragley / On-one Brant design HTs all took 160mm?

BFe?

Stanton Slackline?

Dialled Alpine?

+1 for the DB Alpine.

Bfe is designed around a 120mm fork, but [i]can take[/i] a 160mm'er

otherwise Ragleys, 456, kona five-o, etc etc....

Carbon 456 (designed for 4",5" &6" forks - hence name!!)

Orange SubZero if you can find one second hand. Great bike.

Remember you can probably reduce the travel of most forks, thus opening up your options a bit.

I have 150/120 travel adjust on my BFe and that works well. Climbing and handling on the flat isn't as sharp at 150 but it's OK, pointed down it's a riot. You could sag the 160 down a bit.

For outright 160's as per above Alpine/Pig/456

IMHO: designed and warrantied to take a 160mm fork are very different things.

On paper my Ragley Mmmbop could take a 160mm fork but became a bit of a dog when fitted with a 150mm fork...
