Rear Hope XC hub, just bought new bearings and axel. What grease would you recommend? I've got some good old Castrol grease, thick cheap stuff. Will that do or do I need to buy something better/ more specific?

i use some thick finishline stuff ive had for yonks, seems to work fine

I use a thin, flowy grease - like Manitou Prep M. I find the thicker stuff just gums up over time.

I cleaned mine out and used wet weather chain lube = nice and clicky!

no right or wrongs then, everybody has said something totally different so far! Managed 8 years without servicing/ cleaning the internals once - hope I can manage that again!
