Forget the tyres bit.
I have a front garden on a busy road and it needs gravel.
Opinions on what looks nicest?

Gravel is a cheap bodge, it look horrible and gets everywhere.
I Am biased because I spent 20 years testing and selling the stuff but I wouldn't have it on my property anywhere.
But whatever you do, don't put it down too deep.....
