A lot more information needed...

What's your riding style? how much travel? Frame material preference? etc...

Noticed a 2011 Giant Anthem in an email I got this morning:
http://www.rutlandcycling.com/29633/Giant-Bikes-Anthem-X-3-2011---Full-Suspension-Mountain-Bike.html?utm_source=27-03-2012&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=anthem

Seemed pretty good value if 100mm is enough for you.

Other than that, there really are a lot of bikes to choose from, although at <£2000 I would look at a 2011 model personally, if it has to be new.

Anthem is good - I love my x1 and the frame on the x3 is the same

As above, if you want VFM then YT are amazing, Canyon also great, and last years Kona or giant from Pauls Cycles.

If you want more specific advice give specific info; what sort of travel? Is weight a big factor? Any designs you've ridden which you prefer (single pivot, VPP, DW, 4-bar etc etc)?
