I've had my eye on the fox forks on merlin for £300 quid but they're 30-40mm more than the bike should legitimately take. Do you think it's too much? If so what fork would you recommend. I've approx £300 to spend, I want at least 100mm, air sprung and lock out. Suggestions?

I run fox f100's on mine, suits it nicely. Was a toss up between them and the Reba's tho

I got mine off the classifieds here in pretty much new cond. Paid mid 200's I think. Not sure about new. If buying second hand I'd buy as new as poss and make sure they have been looked after - services aint cheap - which is why some people prefer the rebas.
