Aware this is a mtb forum; the lycra is enough, but surely we can all agree white shorts is a big no.

I wouldn't be able to carry it off, but Adam seems able to.

He looks ridiculous, just like every other guy who wears lycra.

In the highly unlikely event I ever became national champion, would I choose white shorts? Hell no.
Do I admire Blythe for going full white? Hell yes.
You need a certain kind of confidence/arrogance to pull it off and I think he has it.

Saying that, Hannah Barnes's national kit has black shorts and looks awesome too.

I think white shorts can look good, in the french sun, with a nice tan. But in britain in the rain, with mud spots everywhere, not so much.

I think his white kit looks smart though I'm glad I don't have to do his laundry.

It's his head that looks odd in that shot - maybe it has swelled.

He needs to use a bit of fake tan on his legs.

Google "Adam Blythe shoes" and go to images, you'll see that he isn't the shy retiring type when it comes to kit choice! I'm guessing as national champ you'd get to say yes or no to white shorts for your team kit.

I always like the British Champion jersey though.
