A better haul this morning. A couple of pairs of Castelli gloves for road and TT, a 12-23 Ultegra cassette, and a Conti GP TT tyre. Lovely.

@chief9000 Yeah, I have a bit of an obsession with pens, pencils, etc. That one's from a new brand called TWSBI who are a bit like the Merida of the pen world - they have made pens for other brands for years but are now selling under their own name. Not stupidly expensive (40 quid) but nicely made, has a cool integral piston filler, fully strippable & serviceable, and comes in a broad nib size which many far eastern pens don't. Writes REALLY nicely.

Nothing too exiting...

Pair of North Shore DH cranks for an old Cannondale, a Park star dangled nut setter, down race installer, a Marzocchi foot nut tool and a pair of Oskley Ful Cells.

Tomorrow afternoon will be a day or stripping down and servicing two pairs of bombers and swapping some forks over.

Postman (or rather DPD) brought me this from Hbike- i am now a member of the uppy/downy club.

[img] [/img]

I also got this album through the post t'day, tiz' mighty fine n' chilled tunes for this sunny weather, got through a mighty decent bottle of Voigner whilst fitting the dropper and listening to the tunes in the back garden t'night....hic!.

[img] [/img]

1. Marti Caine - Love The Way You Love Me (1st time on CD)
2. Linus Loves - The Love (Exclusive new mix)
3. Quiller - Quiller (Fat Camp Edit) [Previously Unreleased]
4. Twin Sister - All Around And Away We Go (Hotel Motel Mix) [Previously Unreleased]
5. TBS feat Jamalski - Extraterrestrial Manouevres In The Dark
6. Jamiroquai - Alright (DJ Version Excursion unreleased version)
7. Doves - Compulsion (Padded Cell Remix) [Previously Unreleased]
8. Coober Pedy University Band - Moon Plain [Exclusive New Track]
9. Jamie Lloyd - Movin' In (Brennan Green Mix)
10. Fernando Pulichino - Best Is Yet To Come
11. Martin Kershaw - Keep On Pokin'
12. M - Machistador (Extended Mix)
13. Karma - Beach Towel (I:Cube Mix)
14. Zed Bias feat Toddla T & MDcL - Koolade
15. Beans & Company - The Go Go [Exclusive New Track]
16. Tad Wily - After Dark [Exclusive New Track]
17. Herbest Moon - Blow Your Body (François K Deep Space Dub)
18. Asha Puthli - Space Talk

Also got these grips t'day as the KS dropper lever substitutes for the inner grip clamp, keeps the bars as tidy as possible.

[img] [/img]

And in the same CRC box as above odi grips i got a decent pressure gauge as we service a fair amount of shocks n' forks at work not to mention the amount of times we have to inflate tyres so having a reliable pressure gauge is a must-have tool - my last gauge didn't do shock pressures.

[img] [/img]

I think thats all?, apart from an electricity bill but that's not exciting to receive at all, i should have a new 85mm Easton Haven stem and a pair Mavic Tempo shoes waiting for me at work on friday so roll on sunday when i'm off and out on the bike, first time not in sidi's for 16yrs....will i regret it?.

I had a £10 off £50 spend at Cycle Surgery and then Topcashback for another 5%, ended up being £65 instead of £80, so not that good a deal but they are nice!

I didn't find that saddle very comfy.....

Postie brought me xtr pads and bleed funnel thingy, gore bibs, 3/4s and base layer, proII bearings and tools and an a2z freehub.

Is it still too early to start with the big hammer?!

Go ahead DT, after 7 a.m. you can start making noise.
I've been using wafer thin seats with some success (Spesh Taupe & Romin) but still looking for more comfort.
What seat you using now DT?

Currently back on my trusty Stella italia slr 135g...which is good for around 2.5hrs...after 3 starts to get uncomfortable. Reckon ill try one of those with a 'love groove' next something like a flite. I found the Antares very firm.

Banging has started 🙂
