Nothing too exciting today, a Larsen TT tyre and a few toobs for the road bike. Though I'm hoping for more later 🙂 What did he bring you..?

Why, my postman brought me a Fox CTD Factory shock for my Wolf Ridge...

Fitting it has proved to be a monumental PITA, because you have to dismantle the entire rear suspension and associated links in order to do it, but it feels very plush and well controlled.

The only downside is that I discovered that my bearings are shot 🙁

I have on order some SLX brakes from Rose, Mg1s from High on Bikes, a stem from on-one and grips from Charlie. Might get one or two bits today.

Also, I got back late last night and didn't notice there was post for me. Found them this morning, on may way out, just shoved them under my door. One was a credit card statement, the other was tickets, but I have no idea what they're for. That's me in suspense all day...

Got new forks and a pedal rebuild kit yesterday.

I got so infuriated with the bloody cb pedals I ended up ordering some xt ones last night. Bastards.

Hoping the Islabike I bought through a nice fella off here will turn up today. Although I showed my 5 year a photo and she said she doesn't like it because "it's not pink". Why I oughta....

Also just ordered a set of E13 TRS+ 29er wheels from mountainbikebitz, slight buyers remorse, most I've ever spent on wheels by a long way. Still, not Enve money I suppose....

A small, sticky rubber, non-slip mat so I can put my phone on my dashboard when it's in satnav guise. .79p that cost me.

Nothing!!! Bloody post office cocking it all up!

New cranks, chain and cassette for my mates roadbike to be fitted for him this weekend when he comes up tonight from London.

Dispatched from CRC on Monday and bugger all has turned up. Bloody typical when you really need something. Can guarantee if it doesn't turn up this afternoon that it'll be here first thing Monday when he's 130 miles away again. VERY annoying. 🙁

Nothing as such but I did manage to spend over $100 on virtually bugger all.

Stans Juice was $40.
2x WTB tubeless were $16 each.
Park Tools Cassette lockring tool $29 (when I got home they'd given me a freewheel removal tool, not the correct one I asked for).
2 rolls of leccy tape
CO2 adapter and one cartridge £35 (plus 2 extra carts a $3.50 ea).

I feel well and truly overspent but needed the stuff and couldn't wait for it to arrive from Blighty which is usually a lot cheaper even with postage.

Still waiting for my ESI Chunky grips and my PG990 cassette.

Courier just delivered some shiny new Sektor R forks, which I will take great pleasure in stripping down this evening to put some all travel spacers in. Unfortunetly the Superstar wheels I've got on order were only dispatched this morning, so doesn't look like I'll be using the new forks this weekend as I have no wheel for them 🙁

GoPro tripod adapter so I can spend a day mucking about in the forest filming without the camera falling over...

Now just need to teach the dog to retrieve the tripod and I won't have to keep running round to fetch it myself...

And no... I didn't pay GoPro shipping on it...
