I've pretty much finished Mark Beaumonts book and I'm after something else of a similar nature. Maybe a bit less whinging and complaining but bike related.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Dunno if it's on iBooks but Tim Moore's French Revolutions? Guy with very little cycling previous does route of Tour de France. Pretty funny in places and moving on the subject of Tom Simpson and Mount Ventoux.

I keep meaning to buy You've gone too far this time, sir. It's got a fair number of good reviews (though I wonder how many of them are from his pupils) and is only 72p.

I've just finishe Full Tilt: Ireland to India with a Bicycle by Dervla Murphy it was a great read.

EDIT: I'm not sure I really enjoyed French Revolutions, a bit whiny and stupid at times, not unlike Beaumont.

'Moods of future joys' by Alistair Humphries is good, he was in no hurry, unlike Beaumont!

and I've just got 'Cycles, Tents and two young Gents' on my kindle, which looks promising

Oooh, I've read Cycling Home from Siberia - a really good read and especially liked how under-prepared he was for his first trip. Proper funny.

Good suggestions, will get downloading tonight!
