[Closed] What compression-less brake outer?

Any recommendations for the above? For a set of BB7's that I want to make less spongey. Ideally towards the cheaper end of the spectrum.

Wiggle lifeline pro something or other.

Just fitted some and it's loads better than normal cable outer. I ended up buying a second pack though as I didn't have enough in one pack for both brakes. May be my fault cutting it though....

Try 5mm gear outer.

I use small diameter aluminium tubing for the parts of the cable run that do not need to flex. I line it with teflon airhose.

The only snag is you have to make it up yourself.

Makes a dramatic improvement to cable brakes.

The way the cable is cut and finished also has a big effect. Often overlooked.
