i'm a bit confused about what chain to used on a SS conversion,
its a SS conversion kit on a 9 speed free hub out back,
and with front chainring from a 9 sp crankset.

do i buy a single speed chain like this one
or is it something different because of the chainring,
does a 8sp chain work?

your help would be fab, wanting to get an order in quick so hopefully i'll have it by tomorrow

depends on the width of your rear cog.

but yes, either 8sp or ss will fit.
