Want to try SS my Dekerf which has a vertical drop out as per pic (sorry - not a great one but only one to hand). The dropouts have a 'hood' over them. Bought a Gusset type tensioner but because of the dropout style, it's not working esp well as has to hang pretty much vertical rtaher than wrapping up towards to the chain stay.
Any other types of tensioner that would match the frame?

you could try a Rohloff one;

more like a mech but very secure (this is the DH one for FS bikes they do a slightly smaller one for hardtails).

yes, just bolts on in place of it.
