What causes a lever...
 

[Closed] What causes a lever to 'slow return'??

New XT brakes, works fine, no squeeling or rubbing.
But....the lever is slow to return (whilst the front is nice and snappy).
Is it going to be a piston thing (I.e at the calliper end) - I've cleaned them with cleaner and cotton buds, but haven't rubbed mineral oil over them,
Or, is it likely to be gunk in the lever end?

Any ideas etc would be appreciated!

Theres a spring built into the lever (#edit- on recent shimanos#)- looks like a straightened paper clip. Are they both the same?

Flux capacitor, not a common fault on that brand though,

my xt lever did the same - known fault/warranty issue with a seal
