I have both bikes and am thinking about converting to one bike for racing nd playing on? Is this possible?

Love the ti ht for racing tri or long endurance (gt7 10 under etc) and the lapierre x control for playing on and improving my skills. I've found the fs great for downhill improvement.

Is it worth looking for a lighter fs for racing and playing on?

Or just stick with ht I've got

I'm just thinking out loud 🙂

29er is all you're missing.

For XC racing these days, you're giving yourself an instant disadvantage if you're not on a 29er I'd say. Fortunately, some of the newer 29er's are actually quite fun to ride too, and not as ponderous as some of the earlier ones. Recently rode a Whyte 29CS, and was staggered not only how quick it was (to be expected) but just how much fun it was to ride.
