Recommend me a decent boot fitting bike rack for a hatchback car.

I don't have a tow bar and don't like the idea of a roof fitted rack.

It only needs to carry two bikes. I've used a halfords one before now around the £80 mark which was pretty solid but looking for cheaper if possible.

Yeah I was looking at them but theyre more expensive then the halfords high mount clamp fitting rack.

+1 for saris bones, I've got one - easy to get on and off the car, nice secure bike fittings, and when my friend had a minor accident in the snow and bikes impacted a wall, one of the straps was broken off (easily repairable) rather than bike damage!

Not sure of any cheaper options though im afraid

Where you based Morris? If you're anywhere near me in Stirlingshire I've got a Thule ClipOn High 9105 that you can pick up for £80 😉 Most secure boot rack out there in my opinion, and you can lock the bike on it!
