It seems width corrupts and absolute width absolutely corrupts....
I've been training on 710mm bars and 70mm stem - comfy and feels good in single track. Rode the race bike with 660mm bars with bar-ends (so probably equivalent to a tad over 600mm). Didn't feel right - steering felt weird (sensitive yet tiller like) and position a bit constricted.
Plan is to move to the same 710mm and 70mm, ditch the bar ends 🙁 and have to pay more attention to trees and gaps.
Any gap related issues from people?

at 720, about to go to 760/780 just feels better, can thread an 800mm gap fine
