Morning all

I have a 2013 T129 and need to change the rear hub bearings. The wheels have Whyte branded hubs which in guessing are made by someone else and rebounded.

Does anyone know which hubs these are or could point me in the direction of a diagram/video of how to disassemble and replace please.

Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm fairly certain they are Novatech hubs.

NB: not speaking from experience. Read an article about Novatech a couple of months ago which stated that they make hubs for many brands, Whyte being one of them.

I did wonder if that was the case as they seem to be the go to rebranded hub.

Will see if I can find a guide for them.

i'm running an M109C Team 2014 and it has these wheels:
http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/gear/category/components/wheel-sets/product/review-whyte-xc-209-c-carbon-29er-trail-xc-wheels-13-47088/

this link suggests they are Formula hubs with Xero rims:

i found very little info online about servicing Formula hubs and no one responded to my post on here about servicing mine. but i think it involves clamping the non-drive side cap in a vice. haven't actually had to do mine yet:

My brother has a later T129 and has just had to replace the bearings on the free hub. We came to the conclusion they were probably Novatech but couldn't be sure. In the end just popped out the bearings, measured them, and bought some generic replacements from an online bearing seller. Job jobbed
