Just got some The Ones - can I use my 203mm Hope Floating rotor? The back one (185mm) seems to be fine, but the 203mm on the front seems to rub slightly against the caliper body with the Hope adapter I used on my old brakes.
I think this is what I need:
But I can't find many places that have them - this would appear to be the same thing from the description but not the picture:

Can I use another brand of adapter like Avid? Doesn't look quite the same or is it just the angle of the picture?
Help me - I is thick.
Cheers!
A 203 adaptor is a 203 adaptor no matter who makes it.
You might have problems with the floating rotor rivets catching the caliper body or adaptor though.
You can soon sort that out with a bit of handy work with a file.
I often find i've got to shim out Formula brakes on new bikes, usually a thin washer under each end of the caliper does the job.
Hope 'c' adaptor is pm-pm 203- but as Stu says, any brand of adaptor will do- your existing one should be fine.
The rivets on the Hope floaters will rub slightly on some calipers though- I've had to take a file to the caliper before.
Aha, ok thanks folks. I thought it should just work but it is rubbing a little. Not sure I want to file down my fancy new caliper but if needs must.
Will try washers first.
