Wow, not ridden through a storm like that in many years! Usual commute from Chailey to redhill - floods, rain like someone was pouring a bucket over my head for an hour, rivers in the roads and thunder and lightening on the highest point at turners hill. Great fun, totally apocalyptic. So dark it was hard to see. All blue skies now, crazy weather... Anyone else caught in it?
Yes on a ******* train.
More than three hours to do a journey that's normally only 1h20 and stuff all information worth having.
Almost envy you the ride.
totally apocalyptic.
You went through Crawley? ๐ฏ
Fair enough, that gives me some context!! Not really moaning as it was pretty epic, certainly prefer it to the train!!
Ha!! Not quite, past it, which is safer on several counts. Round it on the posh side, Crawley down to smallfield...
Been 23 degrees all day here
Fair enough, that gives me some context!!
My apologies if that was in response to my post possibly appearing arsey (which reading it again it might have done) it was 100% NOT intended that way!
After all, all I had to do was sit on my backside and sulk. Genuine admiration of anyone who rode in today in the south it was filthy.
I'm 14 hours into it today, and I've got to commute home from Celtic Manor - Brynglass is closed so I'm going to have to drive through Newport at night... Well, it's been nice knowing you all.
The very posh side. Not that there was anything wrong with Ifield when I lived down there. ๐ณ
Right nice up north today
