[Closed] What 29 x 2.6 (ish) tyre for mixed road/offroad ( non extreme )

Fit something narrower ? There should be more choice, x/c racing semi slick sort of thing.

Specialized Purgatory comes in 2.6 but doesn't measure up quite that big. Very good all rounder.

I've a Vittoria Mezcal 29 x 2.6" that probably fits the bill. I put it on my front wheel to provide a bit of cushioning on the French Divide. Rides nicely and doesn't feel slow on road.

I've a Nobby Nic in 2.6 flavour that you can have for £20 if you want to try it. Might be a bit over the top based on you're requirements though
