£1900?
I am looking at buying my next bike and am currently thinking a Cube AMS 130 Race just for the spec of the bike alone. However with that being said currently my choice is completely based on paper as I have yet to find a dealer in South London that actually has one as a demo to test.
Therefore I was wondering what what bike would you buy for the same money?

Mmmmm canyon ugly stick shit looking bikes - no idea how they ride didnt get past the ugly. The only thing that makes ugly acceptable is significant weight savings !
Or cube - nice looking , nice riding - maybe a couple of pegs down on spec but youll never notice when your riding. Wont feel like you bout asda value when your washing it thinkjng my this bikes fugly !
also looked at canyon...and must admit as nice as the spec is for the amazing prices I wouldn't be able to suppress the gag reflex every time i swung my leg over it....
I've always just swapped frames etc and upgraded as i go along....looking at whole bikes there is always so much stuff that I would have/like to swap over long stems shit cranks/wheels etc
I wouldn't know where to start if I was buying a complete new one! but if you can look past the ugly canyon are great value.
The OP didn't speculate about looks being priority..
For what it's worth Cube bikes always remind me of the souped up fiestas and corsas that looked like they've just ram-raided Halfords.

i think canyon look great ,cube more your mullet head , good post i heard was buy a bike that works and get a woman that looks good .
I wouldn't buy on spec alone. Get the best frame/wheels you can with the components you need.

Just get a spesh, giant or trek. Good bikes, good value and good customer service.
if you like good value euro bikes, YT are hard to beat.
but if youre after value why 2012? This is a lot of bike for £1900 and would be top of my list if I was after a £1900 5" bike

FWIW, I've a 2004 bike which originally cost £1500 which pretty much blew me away this weekend when stacked up against my 2009 and 2011 bikes.
