The On-One 456 Carbon is a frame that was found on the trampoline at the bottom of the monkey puzzle ugly tree, so we know which is the fugliest carbon bike out there. What is the nicest looking carbon bike you've seen?

niner for me as well ,, the paint job also accentuates the design, unlike a couple of other brands mentioned in this thread

There was another thread on this sort of topic recently and I seem to remember a lot of people saying that mountain bike frames just don't look "sexy".

Road bike frames on the other hand...

We should have an STW tall persons ride.

I think the GT Fury wins hands down. Nicer than a Mojo, Nomad and every other "nice" carbon frame I can think of. Road bikes are not sexy!

Nomad = squatting dog

Meanwhile, those Tallboys look like someone doing press-ups, sort of folded/bent in the wrong place:

Your Tallboy is lovely Rob, Dave's(smaller?) not so nice. That GT is gopping. But the Niner wins hands down - mountain bike frames can most definitely be sexy.

s works carbon in euro/natural

as per the link is my current favourite - i'm struggling with posting a the photo. i think that some of the "beauty" of carbon frames is being able to see the weave beneath the laquer so i'm sorry but your tallboys are off my list.

Those tallboys looked like they've snapped already. And I don't know what that thing flow posted but it looks like an abortion from a terminator.

I agree with crazy legs, if you want a nice looking carbon frame, you have to look at a road or track bike.

always liked the XTC frames from the 05>07 times, had one for a bit, nice but flexy bugger though

[img] [/img]

and the current crop of big trail FS super bikes isnt bad, Mojo SL, Blur LT C and 575 C all look lush, think the Tranny looks kinda cool too, but then i love the black stuff, and quite like the 456C too, nearly ordering one

I love my Tboy as well, but even I don't think it's the loveliest, that award would have to go to a (steel - sorry) Colnago Master X, but that Niner is very pretty, but no good to my back.

I was looking at the carbon whyte in the bike shop earlier & thought what a lovely looking bike, until i looked at it from the rear - the seat stays are goppinly wide.

The weird wheels on the klein are just wheels laced with a 'snowflake' pattern.

eddyesi - it does, it really does. And I've had a Norco VPS, so I know a thing or two about ugly bikes.

The whyte is the nicest thus far, which adds a nice mirror symmetry to these threads.
