Ok so my bottom isn't as small as it used to be but why is it still getting wet..I have fitted crud catchers front and rear.
My only solution is that I have the guard too close to the tyre and perhaps a more angled method would be better.
Dull post for sure but hey it's still worthy!
Angle of dangle and length is important. Ooer missus!
Your right, rear mudguard not too close to tyre, angled upward say 15 deg, and long enough to intercept the spray that curls up off the back wheel and sticks to your arse.
gap between the guard and the seatpost big enough to let the spray thru?
i have a rear mudguard and still get a wet backside. as said above it is the mudguard being too close to the tyre and not angled up thus letting the spray off the back of the tyre to go over and get your ass!!
solution is to move the mudguard up the seatpost to catch the spray............not too far as this will then let spray go underneath it
If your riding quite rough terrain then it could be flapping side to side and letting the mud past.

Nice dry backside.
