Thinking about doing part of the whw next week, from crianlarich to fort William. I did walk the whole route about 11 years ago and I only recall the devils staircase and the climb out of kinlochleven being sections that would involve carrying / pushing. Would be looking to do it in a day and was wondering if anybody here has done it. Any info would be appreciated.

Down the bottom, for Glen Coe to FW.
You've probably chosen the best (biking) bit.
+1 for the best biking bit. The northern half of the WHW, from Crianlarich upwards, has a higher proportion of decent, rideable surface than the southern half. Much of it is Old Military Road, allowing a decent average speed and time to take in the views. Train Station in Crianlarich too.
Cheers for the info. Just need to decide whether to get a b&b in crianlarich and set of first thing or drive to crianlarich in the morning. The latter involves an even earlier start though.
