unspectacular - stick in mech, no crash, just one of those things
so - currently SRAM XO1. Haven't found stock anywhere, but in my quest, would a Shimano 12 speed mech work with the SRAM shifter? thanks

Yep, just done this after my X01 mech jockey wheel and inner plate sheared off recently. Put a 12spd SLX mech on, paired with my GX Eagle shifter and all works perfectly 👌
