Comic Relief's celebrity climbers have spoken of their delight at being back home after conquering Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. Nine stars including Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole and Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles were greeted with cheers after arriving at RAF Northolt in an executive jet.
That money could have been used for far more worthy causes surely? Can't think what off hand like, but I'm sure we can think of something
Quite. This aspect of luvvy fund raising always makes my p155 boil too. I think the worst example of it was Phil Collins playing the London leg of Live Aid, then just [b]having[/b] to catch Concorde to play the American leg later in the day.
So far up their own 80's ar5es that they couldn't see the irony of such ostentation.
