I have apretty much brand new set of M8120's (the four pot XT's), one ride old. The other day I had to remove the pads and noticed on the back of one pad a wet circular oil mark, not massive, but noticable. So I just wiped it clean and reassembled.

Out of curiosity I checked the pad again a couple of days later while the bike had been unused, and the oil circle was back - again wiped it clean and put the pad back.

I just check again, and yep, the oil mark is back again. Could this be a sign the seal is leaking, or could it be from their initial assembly considering they're new? Should I be looking to get it checked under warranty before it gets worse?

They are out of warranty. Quite old now. Surely not everyone chucks brakes away with just seals to replace?
Anyone successfully done it?

You can't get seals for Shimano brakes.
There was a company on ebay selling replacement pistons for shimanos a while back, have no idea what they were like or even if they still sell them.
