Weather wasn’t playing ball so just did a loop from home. Managed to find a track up a local hill (Fourman hill) that isn’t on the map though.

Didn't get out for a ride this weekend but I did fit new bars, stem and bar tape to the gravel bike... which is sure to trigger a few purists.

Local trails again here - Pigs with guns, half Dumyat to avoid the crowds, last Witches Crag before SPEN chop all the rhododendron down, Uni Woods, Mine Woods, coffee stop, Glen Road, Kippenrait and Darn Path home.

Blimey, my local trails are quality.
All with Stirling Crispin of this parish and two of our lads.

Spen are fencing off Witches, new paths going in, and apparently lots of clearing and tree work all the way down. Bye bye tunnel...

Just about got the shock dialed in on the new bike now, just the forks to finish tinkering with still.

Great pic of the fat bike on the bale

Slightly greasy in the FoD today

Pretty much perfect in the woods above Ross. Only found one puddle. Back to our fav pub for a first pink of Punk IPA for six months. Obviously we had to have another one 🙂

Thursday/Friday was my weekend. Thursday evening was a quick pootle after fitting a new coil and lubing my Hope pistons, to check the new shock was bolted in correctly and didn't fall out and that I hadn't smeared silicone lube all over the discs:

Then Friday was a ride up the 'local' Covert woods. Proper windy, quite eerie seeing/hearing branches snapping and falling of trees randomly around you...

Since I didn't get out this weekend I went out on my lunch break today for a coastal/cliff-top cycle.

If anyone knows Aberdeen, the climb back up from Cove Bay Harbour is brutal!
