Every biker who passed me round Ambleside/Hawkshead area today was clad in leggings or knee warmers, arm warmers and a gilet.
WTF?! I was sweating like a rapist in just shorts and t-shirt! Maybe if you were up some proper big hills it could have been chilly, but not round where I was today!

Yeah maybe should have made the most of a great day to get some altitude, but I had a fun time. Best two descents of the day were at the end, then an ice cream before catching the ferry. Very civilised.
And your path over Claife was, shall we say, interesting to begin with! The descent down to join the BW was very good though 🙂
