So, after only 800 miles my Koga Miyata Signature with 11 speed Alfine had to go back with a hub gear problem. Its been built up with a brand new hub but has returned with a dented frame.
The new frame has arrived so after a descision to sell, whats the opinion on this. Sell the components individually, or rebuild on to the new frame and sell as a whole bike.
Its a Koga Miyata Signature Custom Build Frame (a certain M Beaumont actually helped with the spec on this one). The new frame is fresh out of the box today, the old one has to go back.
Opinions please. Its got to go.
Splitting a frame & components will normally yield a better return than selling the bike as a whole. However theres obviously a lot more work required in stripping the individual components, packing and posting them off.
Depends what you want? Money or less hassle?
Trying to recover the cost of the bike really.. its no hassle as the bike has to be stripped to return the dented frame....
