Hello, can anyone recommend some good accomodation within 5 miles or so of Peebles or Glentress please ? 4 adults coming up the road for 3 or 4 nights early June. A hotel doing a deal for MTB riders or a good pub B&B, etc would be great, to have a rest from bunk house for a change. Last time we asked on here we were recommended a great hotel just outside Sheffield (for a Yorkshire trip, not Scotland!), owned by the miners union I believe. Great value, great location, lived like kings for the weekend. Thanks, Brian
The Glentress Hotel - right at the entrance to GT - is excellent. I stayed there during a Lejog last year and the staff could not have been more helpful.
