Hi all,
So hoping to head up to Fort Bill to watch the final. Don't want to buy a gondola ticket, but don't want to be limited to just the finish area of the track either.
Quite happy to walk up the track (maybe not the whole way, depends on time). However, a mate was saying that you have to walk quite some way to get around the barriers so you can actually start walking up the hill - about a mile away from the track finish. Is that right? If so, where's the best place to start heading uphill from?
Ta, Duane.
Thats if you don want to pay entry o the arena
They have paths starting at finish arena
Last year we followed the track from the top to the road gap jump then a fire road takes you down to the bottom and it doesn't follow the track. It's a small detour, nowhere near a mile and takes about 5 minutes,
Oh, I'm happy to pay entry to get into the "WC village" or whatever they call it. So with that you can just walk up the normal path?
