I'm replacing my raceface Isis bottom bracket and Vp components come out half the price. Specked at a similar level.
Has anyone used these parts? Halfords stock them.
Shimano are compatible, just get an XTR from Rose.
Not used there Isis bb but most of there stuff is fine
And they make loads for other people too
Xtr bb from rose won't be isis
shimano aren't compatible with ISIS.
The later RF 2 peice cranks will run on a HT2 bottom bracket.
VP are heavier but have run them in the past in Square taper format with no problems.
Only issue with ISIS was always the fact that to fit the bigger diameter axle in there the bearings are a bit small.
Shimano has never made a ISIS BB, so forget the XTR from Rose idea
If you want one to last, SKF is the only option, see yesterdays thread for details
