Already planning on what to spend the Xmas vouchers on....go pro or Virb?
I've currently got the older version of the Virb Elite after getting it cheap on Amazon last Christmas.
I'm really tempted to go for a GoPro Session after Christmas since the price drop as it would be a bit easier to fit on the road bike for a trip later this year.
Looks like you can get the session for £160 which is very tempting, and it does seem super easy to mount. Lower quality than the pricer go pros or Virb xe at £250
You can get the older Virb on sport pursuit for 80 quid...
I got the virb xe. It's good but not been able to use the full functionality yet as the video edit app doesn't work with iOS! So I'm now on the look out for a Mac - I guess most sensible people don't just have iPads in the house.
I also have a Garmin watch which acts as a remote for the virb - so long as your not also using it to record your ride too!
PS: hope the reverb is still going strong.
I've bought the older Virb for snowboarding on the strength of the big slider to turn it on/start recording, seems like a better idea than the fiddly buttons on the gopro.
I got a session for £140 from halfords recently with a discount code, really small and I like that it has one button operation, turns on and starts recording with one press, not as many settings as the hero cameras but once I've set it up I tend not to adjust anything anyway. I know of a couple of friends who have mucked up their recording by pressing the wrong combination of buttons on the hero.

This ^ although I don't like it the torpedo shape of the original virb as I prefer to chest mount, so the latest version should tick both boxes.
