For the first time in absolutely ages I got a tubeless puncture that wouldn't seal at the weekend as it was a little slice through the tread carcass, and being inept I didn't have any anchovies with me - since corrected with a purchase of some of those Muc-Off bar end ones that are on offer.
So after limping home on a near flat tyre - it seems to stabilize at around 10psi for some reason - I swapped bikes and carried on with my rider. This morning I took the tyre off and have fitted one of those Velox tubeless repair patches on the inside over the nick from a kit I bought ages ago. I've never used them before and given it's only a 3mm nick, whats the longevity of the patched w.r.t normal use, is it just carry on as before?
The main reason I'm just not bunging on a new tyre is it's on a Continental Race King Protection in the brown / Berstein side wall style and they're nigh on impossible to get hold of in 29x2.2 TLR
Carry on as you were, I've used tyres for years that were patched or had anchovies in
