Anyone with a Veho Muvi got the chest mount? Evans are doing them for half price at the moment so tempted to get one as for that price its almost not worth the faff of fabricating something myself that probably won't work.

But... does the proper Veho mount work ok?

Oooh, not seen a chest mount for them. Link please? Thanks.

They are a bit of a pain to mount...

Just looked this up. If you have the normal Muvi, then you also need the handlebar mount to fit the Muvi to the chest mount. It really is the most poorly thought out range of mounting products.
You have to buy the handlebar mount, just to get what looks like a sliding clip to attach the camera to the chest mount. Why they don't just include that in the kit is beyond me.

I'll sack that idea off then and bodge something. Agree about the mounting options - they're awful. I've got the 'extreme sports pack' for mine which comprises of even more clip mounts (rubbish) and lots of velcro straps!

Yeah, I got the Extreme Sports Pack (rad, man!) just for the helmet mount.

Problem is that when it's on your head, you can't tell if you have pressed the record button properly. The fact that it goes to standby after 2 mins doesn't help, as you then have to press it twice.
An audible beep to confirm recording would have been a good idea, but am not sure user friendliness was on the designers' agenda.

I've got a chest mount someone can have for not a lot. You can have the camera too for not a lot + not very much more. (it's a VEHO HD7 - you cant remove the timestamp and that does my head in)

BTW the camera fits fine without the bar mount. (which I dont have)

Cheers Mackem...

The hd7 is a different size to the micro though. Is yours the one with the little screen + the remote record button? How much would you want for it?
Only fair that perhaps first dibs go to daveyboywonder, but I'd be interested in the camera & any mounts you have, depending on the price. I don't know how much it cost new, so am not sure whether I will be up for forking out on it.

The micro I got was a pressie, but looking online can be had for peanuts. The plastic mounts seem to cost as much as the camera.

My e-mail address is in my profile, but I am flying off on holiday tomorrow afternoon so you might not get a reply for a week...

Aye it's the one with the remote and screen. Lets see, hmm, 25 quid posted? (from Spain), include mounts and chest strap.
