Morning all, just a quick question....got a stans flow on rear set up tubeless no issue. Could not afford to get a new rim for the front so had a go at fitting a ust tyre on the stock dt Swiss rim (I think it's a tube only rim and according to dt Swiss website needs the rubber rim strip to convert). Ran x2 layers of yellow tape, popped in the valve, stuck the ust tyre on and with a bit of fairy liquid and track pump managed to get they bead seated. Stuck in some stans and it's held at 30psi for 3 days. Not ridden it in anger yet but a bit worried of reading all the horror stories about people flying over the bars after tyre burping off rim.
Did not bother with rim strip or anything....anyone else doing the same with no issues? I am keeping the pressure around 30psi for now (or do you think I can run lower?).
