Was looking for an x0 chainset to break down and use in a 1x10 setup and I came across the XX1 chainset.
Looks mint and wouldn't be much more than the x0 and bling ring setup I had planned.
Any reason why I couldn't use this with a xx 10 speed rear mech and 10 speed chain and cassette??
I know the xx1 stuff has the X-sync technology but not sure how this translates....
Should be fine, iirc the 11speed chains are the same as 10 speed.
Yeh that's what I thought the chain to chain ring connection is the only thing that would matter really.
If the chain is the same then it should be fine.... Mmm might be time to experiment 🙂
Now the question has to be do I dare use it with a new type2 rear mech without an upper chain guide on a brand new yeti frame!!!!!!
