Just thinking about how my little girl will hold onto the bars on the balance bike I'm making her and pondered that bar tape might be a better option for her small hands.
What do you think?
How do you mount bar tape? Never fitted the stuff...

It's a little sticky on the back, but basically wrap in a spiral with some overlap past the end of the bar (start at the outside), tape the end, and then tuck the end-of-bar end into the bar and fit a bar plug.
Youtube will sort you out I'm sure, or the park tool website.
Not sure you'll actually get a much smaller diameter though, you want to choose some thinner tape.
Though if you're using tape, you can make smaller than normal diameter bars and still wrap them of course.
