Is this possible?....I'be built a new bike last weekend and have been waiting all week for the delivery of the sm bh90 hose ALL WEEK. It has been delivered today, I started to set it up to my lever (xt 2012), fitted the connector insert, olive, and connecting bolt then only when it came to connecting the hose at the caliper end noticed that I had bought the wrong hose. I need the hose with a banjo pre fitted at the caliper end. I can't send the hose back as i've already fitted one end of the connectors.
I just had a look on chain reaction cycles and noticed you can buy these goodridge banjo connectors from there....

Could I simply buy one of these and screw it into my bh90 hose or is it not as simple as that? (diameter etc).
Thank you
Anthony.

The hb90 hose has a narrower bore than other hoses so i dought the Goodridge fitting would work.
The new xt brakes also use a longer banjo bolt to connect into the caliper.
You can use Goodridge hose/hose fittings and the Shimano banjo bolt though. it's what i did with a new pair of xt brakes on one of my bikes.

kinda what I was hoping somebody wouldn't say. Looks like I might have to simply buy the correct hose this time. Gutted I fitted the olive and inner connector first though because now I can't send it back for a refund!
