I have 185mm Elixir Rs on my hardtail and 183mm Tech X2s on my FS - can I swap wheels over wthout risking any issues? This only equates to a 1mm difference in radius but is this likely to bugger up the pads etc?
Only want to do this so I can have winter wheels and summer wheels and just swap them between bikes depending what I am taking out.

The only issue is possibly the OD of the disc rubbing against the caliper body in the piston 'slot'. If that is the case just put 1mm spacing washers Btw the caliper and mount adaptor.
i had an issue with older Avid 'Roundagon' rotors catching the caliper when used with a hope IS to post 183mm adaptor. I changed to an Avid 185mm adaptor and it was fine, or I could have shimmed it as 100mphplus said.
