Have a few quid to spend on the bike, I'm running Hayes Nines at minute which have served me well on a few bikes over the years, was happy with them till I tried my wifes bike with Magura Julie HP's which had way more feel and power. My Nines still work ok have given them a bleed and pads etc. but at back of my head now that there is much better out there. Was looking at picking up some cheap Formula K24s direct from their online store.

Thing is dosh I have been putting away is for either a Reverb or Ks 950i, don't have the money for both, and was wondering which would I get most benefit from, new brakes or spangly new dropper post.

Do your brakes stop you effectively? If so get a dropper post!

Do you want a dropper post or new brakes? If the former get a dropper post.

Dropper post and you might not want to slow down so much anyway... maybe?

dropper post you can always put your feet down to slow down ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
Easier to get second hand brakes than a dropper post

If you can already stop then without doubt the dropper post. When it's working ๐Ÿ˜• best upgrade I have had for my bike (just keep your old seatpost for if your dropper has to go for repair!)
