work are looking for 6 GPS units at max of 450 per unit. Needs mapping to 25K scale (is 10k an option??)
what would you buy (top marks for kit that comes with bike mounts)

How big an area at 1:25k - that can put the cost up massively.
If you want a really big area then maybe you should look at that Garmin thread about mapping recently.
Otherwise the satmap is excellent and you can cut site-centred 1:25k maps for a reasonable sum, and I think you used to get 1/3rd off vouchers for that in the retail box.
