1st time out on my new road bike and 1st bike with Di2 Ultegra R785 levers btw.
The shifter buttons on both levers rattle going over bumps.
I checked on line and some folk say they all do this and others not.
Is there a way to sort the rattles or is a possible warranty job?

My 105 mechanical did this, returned to sender and relaxed with some that didn't rattle. 5000+ mike's and still silent.

Looks like a trip to my LBS but hope I don't have to send them back as I bought the bike from Holland as they don't do my size in the UK.

Try winding in the reach a tad, see if this tightens them up.

Worth a try, will have a tinker and see if it helps, strange it's both levers and seems like both buttons.

Why would that be a better place to ask...? ๐Ÿ˜•

The disc ones are prone to rattling more, as they don't have the cable keeping the tension, but that's lever blades, not Di2 buttons. Are you sure it's the buttons that are rattling?

Had a similar issue, pulled back the covers and had a nosey and stuck a couple of spare bits of bar tape between the offending rattly bits.

Been fine for thousands of miles now:)

On mine it is not the levers, but the di2 butons.

I've just been out on it again tonight and it's definitely the buttons and in particular the smaller top buttons on both levers.
If I sit my index fingers on the top buttons the noise stops but that's not practical really.

Have you checked that the tiny allen key bolts that bolt the button to the lever blade are nice and tight?
